'Mark & Jo, Thank you very much for arranging the All Triumph race at Mallory. What a shame that Mark was not well enough to attend your own event. That must have been very frustrating. As a competitor I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it, after being unable to take part in your previous two events due to car problems. It was excellent to see a grid full of Triumphs. My own pleasure was increased by finishing second after a race long dice with Rob Cowing which was only resolved when he had to retire with an overheating problem. Mark Campbell won, as expected, but has to be congratulated for getting out at all after changing his diff in 30 minutes after it broke right at the end of the Swinging 60s race which he also won. Thanks very much for an enjoyable afternoon.' Dave McDonald.
