The race has been brought about through Mark and Jo's interest in Triumph's and a wish to bring together a wide range and diversity of historic, classic and interesting racing cars combined with club racing cars, to hopefully put together one of the largest grids of Triumph's that has been seen for many years. With the view of offering a good value, high standard and gentlemanly race, within the realms of historic and classic motor sport, that is interesting for both the individual competitor and the spectators alike.

With the success of our first two races, held in 2008 & 2009, at Mallory Park, with the help and assistance of the Classic Sports Car Club, we have decided to hold a similar race on an annual basis and our next race will be held over the weekend of 29th or 30th August, once again at Mallory Park.

INITIAL ENTRY INFORMATION

Entrance to this Classic Triumph race is strictly by invitation only
Open to all Classic Triumph models including Spitfire, GT6, Herald and Vitesse, TR2-6, Dolomite Sprints and Toledo, Standard 8 or 10, 2000, plus other Triumph engined production cars from other manufacturers including: Swallow Dorretti, Fairthorpe, Peerless, Warwick, etc (JIGSAW hold a full list of eligible cars). Note: Triumph TR7 and TR8 models are not included
Tyres - must be listed in MSA blue book list 1A or 1B with a minimum of 60 series profile. Tyres must be road legal and must conform to current UK MOT standards. Strictly NO slicks
Class structure - Class 1 - up to 1150cc, Class 2 - 1151 to 1400cc, Class 3 - 1401 to 1650cc, Class 4 - 1651 to 2000cc and Class 5 - over 2001cc
Ideally, all cars will be required to be of original silhouette, with original panels, engine and suspension components. If your car has replacement non original panels, or an alternative mechanical specification, please contact the organisers to confirm your invitation
All cars will be required to be of a high standard of presentation and drivers behaviour on and off the track will be expected to be of the same high standard
A National B race licence will be a minimum licence requirement
