BRDC 500 - Saturday July 31st 2004, Silverstone Sports & GT Challenge in association with Brian James and Loveridge Agents & Auctioneers
A bright clear day, just one week after the Le Mans Classic, greeted us when we got to Silverstone to compete in the BRDC500 Summer races. Held on the National Circuit, we were invited to compete within the Sports & GT Challenge, which included a wide range of cars including Jaguars, MG's, TVR, Austin Healey, and Alfa Romeo's.
Driver, Colin Elstrop, managed to qualify 25th out of an initial grid of 35 cars, with a number of MG's behind. For the actual race, Colin eventually finished in 21st having a good 30 minute race with a number of MG's.
