We are pleased to offer a new service for all of our customers a

Fully Computerised Four Wheel Alignment service

available to all, from standard road cars to fully race prepared cars, restored or un-restored, why not check that your vehicle is actually set up correctly and your alignment and suspension working as it should.

Does you car suffer from any of the following problems:-

Un-even tyre wear?

Pull to one side or wander on the road?

Have a steering wheel that is not centred?

then a full four wheel alignment is probably what you need.

Initially we would carry out a full four wheel measurement on your vehicle, using a Hunter PA100 aligner, this would taking around 40 minutes to complete and will give you a fully detailed printout of your measured values against the manufacturers specifications.

Having got your report we can then carry out the adjustments, if required, to correct the alignment on your car.  However at this point consideration will be given to the condition of your suspension components and whether nuts and bolts are seized, as this will reflect on how much work will be required to carry out the adjustments.  In some cases if you are prepared to do some preparatory work this could reduce the time we need to take to carry out the work and any subsequent charges.

We can also carry out the fitment of new suspension components at the same time thus ensuring all is set up correctly for you, please enquire as to the types and specifications of suspension components when booking

The alignment check and adjustment are carried out on a

pre-booked appointment service

to make an booking please call us on 01536 763799 and we will do our utmost to accommodate your individual requirements..

Glossary

TOE - a measurement taken from the centre line of the vehicle, measured in degrees and minutes.  Negative toe means that the leading edge of the wheels are further apart, and Positive the leading edge are closer together.

CAMBER - increases or decreases the tyre's grip on the road by the wheel not being upright when viewed from the front or rear.  Incorrect setting of the camber will cause tyre wear or even worse compromise the overall handling of the car.

Positive camber is when the top of the wheel leans away from the car, Negative is when the top leans towards the car and Zero is therefore when the wheel is fully upright.

CASTER - is the forward or rearward tilt of the steering axis, and a high positive caster makes the steering heavier but results in the car remaining better in a straight line at speed.
